This year, we’re starting the Pride celebration early!

Parade Central, the parade hot spot on Cherry Ave. and Ocean Blvd. welcomes back DJ iPAZ! as Parade Central kicks off the parade an hour early at 9:30 a.m. with entertainment, giveaways and fun! Located next to Bixby Park, the location provides plenty of shade and a gathering spot for anyone watching the parade. Listen as community supporter Steve Eng and actress and comedian Carlease Burke, the 2009 hosts of the Long Beach Pride Parade, guide you through all the entries one by one. Limited seating is available for parade viewers.

9:30 a.m.
DJ iPaz! gets your body moving early with music and giveaways. Early arrivers who show their pride could receive free admission to the 2009 Long Beach Pride Festival, exclusive Long Beach Pride merchandise and more!

9:45 a.m.
Dancers from the Disneyland Resort help you celebrate pride with music and magic.

10:00 a.m.
Join in the pep rally with Cheer LA as they perform a choreographed high-flying stunt spectacular.

10:15 - until parade arrives
DJ iPaz! gets the crowd moving with interactive crowd games and more high-energy music. Meet your 2009 parade narrators, actress and comedian Carlease Burke and community supporter Steve Eng as they guide you through all the entries one by one.
